Wayne Jonas, as the new permanent director of the Office of AlternativeMedicine (OAM); he will replace temporary acting director AlanTrachtenberg in July. Dr. Jonas earned his medical degree fromthe Bowman Gray School of Medicine, Winston-Salem, NC. He hasstudied alternative therapies such as homeopathy and electro-acupuncture,and has been a consultant to the OAM on several projects.
